Team Aprati: Whoa.. it's an update!

Well... what a long time it's been since we've updated Team Aprati. Christmas & the New Year came and went in a flash, and before we knew it we'd moved right onto my sister Katie's wedding.

Looking quite dapper in his "tux" for his Aunt Katie's wedding. Too bad he pooped all over it at the church.

We never did get a family photo on the day of the wedding. Joey's wearing his daddy's shoes from when he was a baby though. Still pretty cute if you ask me. This is honestly the only photo of the three of us from this day. Too bad Brett just looks like a creeper in the background. A cute creeper though...

Life is just moving so quickly these days, and we are about to celebrate Joey's 6th month birthday. How far we've come with our little Joe Joe. Sleeping is better (most nights), he's rolling all over and almost sitting up independently. He has two teeth (all the better to bite his mama with), and even turns pages of books when we read each night.

Even more exciting is lately we had a few moments when his knees came up underneath him, getting ready to crawl. We all better watch out as once this kid is on the move, we won't be able to stop him!

This past weekend was finally a quiet, "nothing to do," weekend for just us. Saturday was a beautiful, although still crisp & cold, day and we spent it hanging around the house, and then headed over to the park to see if Joey would enjoy swinging. Aaaaand boy did he!

He promptly fell asleep afterwards and enjoyed a nice nap in his stroller while we were able to tucker Millie out running her through the park... A beautiful 35 degree day in February with the sun shining sure does make you ready for spring! Bring it on!

When we got home I had seen a cute idea for a photo I wanted to try... thus my attempt at some sort of baby photography. I'm no Anne Geddes and I don't claim to be.

Boy is he cute though... he makes it so easy to take good photos. :)
